You Don’t Need to Know How to Pose, You Just Need to Feel Something

There’s this idea that you need to know what you’re doing in front of a camera.

That you need to practice poses.

Watch TikToks.

Figure out where your hands go.

Learn how to look “natural.”

But the truth?

The couples who walk into their session the most nervous—the ones who say

“We’re awkward”

“We’ve never done this before”

“We don’t know how to pose”

…are almost always the ones who leave with the most honest, emotional images.

Because they stop trying to perform.

This isn’t about posing. It’s about connection.

When you book a couples session with me, I’m not expecting you to show up knowing what to do.

That’s my job.

Your job is to:

• Be close

• Be present

• Let yourself feel something

That’s it.

I’ll guide you through everything else—without turning you into something you’re not.

No stiff posing.

No forced smiles.

No “look at the camera and laugh on 3.”

What actually happens during a session

We talk.

We move.

We slow down.

Sometimes you’ll laugh.

Sometimes you’ll get quiet.

Sometimes it feels like the world disappears for a second.

And those are the moments I’m looking for.

Not perfection.

Not performance.

Just the way you naturally exist together.

You don’t need to be confident—you just need to show up

A lot of people think they need to feel confident before booking a session.

But most of the time?

Confidence comes after.

After you realize:

• You don’t look as awkward as you thought

• Your partner looks at you in ways you didn’t notice

• The way you love each other is already enough

This is for the couples who…

• Are a little obsessed with each other

• Care more about real than perfect

• Want photos that feel like memories

• Don’t want to be turned into someone they’re not

If that sounds like you…

You don’t need to prepare.

You don’t need to practice.

You don’t need to be anything other than who you already are.

Just show up.

I’ll take care of the rest.

If you’re ready for photos that feel like you—not a version of you trying to perform—

I’m currently booking couples and couples boudoir sessions in Arizona.
